Banana Bread Smoothie Recipe

banana bread smoothieOkay, here’s a different one to try out, the Banana Bread Smoothie. This comes from the Metabolic Cooking program. I had to try this one because it uses cooked oats. I regularly have oatmeal for breakfast, so what better than an oatmeal smoothie.

I have tried smoothies in my Nutribullet Pro with oats added and they are delicious, but cooked oats! I had to try.

It is a very good and healthy recipe. You won’t be disappointed if you like oatmeal.

I’m using Organic Soy Powder from Swansons. It’s a healthy powder and tastes great in smoothies.  This product was featured in Prevention’s 6 Healthiest Protein Powders for Your Smoothie. 100% Certified Organic Whole Soybean Powder has 10 grams of easy-digesting protein per serving. Plus, it has all the healthful components of the soybean. This nutritional powder truly delivers!

Notes: Cook oats (with water) and cool. Put all ingredients in a blender
and enjoy! This smoothie is perfect for breakfast or post-exercise because
of its higher carbohydrate content.

It contains vitamins like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. The other nutrients available in this milk include vitamins such as vitamin C, B-6, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, folate and vitamin E. All these nutrients have various benefits which are essential for a healthy body. – Organicfacts.net

What do you think? Is this delicious, I think so. I’m using my Nutribullet Pro and just love it!
