I had some extra kale, peach and apple in my fridge, so I made this beautiful emerald juice. I love how kale looks when juiced. So beautiful!
Sometimes I buy too much at the grocery store right before I’m leaving town for a few days. I don’t know why I do that, but it happens. Then I think all of that stuff I just bought is going to get old. So what do you do with it? I juice’em.
I don’t like letting things go to waste, especially good fruit and vegetables.
Here’s a simple recipe I made with some kale, peach and apple. It’s delicious and so healthy. Kale is one of the healthiest vegetables around.
Here are just some of kale’s amazing benefits: High in calcium, high in vitamin C, high in vitamin K, high in vitamin A, has a good amount of Iron, anti cancer properties, helps to lower cholesterol levels, has an overall alkalizing effect on the body, great for detoxifying our bodies, high in chlorophyll and contains blood purifying properties.
Would you want to let that go to waste? Heck NO!
Makes 20 ounces
- 4 to 6 kale leaves (depending on how strong you like it)
- 1 large peach
- 1 large apple ( I used red delicious)
