Rich Red Cleanse Juice Recipe| Beet, Carrots, Celery and Parsley

Wow! Delicious! The Rich Red Cleanse juice is a wonderful combination of beet, celery and parsley with a tangy lemon. Just what I needed this morning.

There’s just a hint of parsley in this juice recipe with a nice blend of nutritious vegetables. The addition of lemon really makes this recipe for me.

I was a little hesitant about adding a whole lemon (I peel mine) like the recipe calls for, but it’s the red cleanse

The Rich Red cleanse is a cleansing juice. Beets are good for the kidney, liver and bladder. Beetroot juice is also believed to be a blood purifier and is good for intestinal cleanses. See another beet juice recipe (Beet-Cucumber Cleanse) here.

The Rich Red Cleanse

This recipe comes from one of my favorite juicing books, The Healthy Juicer’s Bible written by Farnoosh Brock. It’s on page 154. If you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend it.

Makes 24 ounces

  • 2-3 medium carrots
  • 1 medium beet
  • 4-5 stalks of celery
  • 1 large Macintosh or Honey Crisp apple
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 1 lemon (I peel mine)

I’m usually not a fan of carrots and beets in my juice blending, but I’ll have to try this recipe out. Pretty interesting type of combination, though I think my body can benefit from the minerals and vitamins that beets offers!

Great recipe! I’ll try this one tomorrow morning. I love adding the whole lemon to juice. It helps combat some of the earthiness of the veggies (especially beets!) I never think to add parsley, though. Time to branch out!
